The day was finally here! The day to meet our sweet Monroe. It was so surreal sitting in our hotel conference room waiting to meet our baby for the first time. I was so nervous and yet so excited to see her. Dan was so calm and so ready to give her a huge and kiss. This is the day we have been praying about for a long time! As they brought her in I instantly had that feeling of peace and love for her! Thank you Lord!! (even though she was terrified of me) We are having so much fun getting to know our daughter-she is so loved!!! More to come.............Love you all!

Oh, how my heart just fluttered as I saw her in your arms! Precious!!! Oh,Karen and Dan - I am so excited for you and Monroe. How God is expanding your hearts and your family. She is beautiful! ReplyDeleteYES!!!! The moment we've been waiting for; little Willard number 4. Thanks for all of the great pictures!!! Monroe is adorable and looks so pretty in her ruffles!! Just ran into Dan's mom at the library. She loves your kids so much, and is excited about this newest little one. I hope by now she's seen this post. We were both anticipating a post soon and discussing if you were 13 hours ahead of us or behind. Monroe already has a fan club. We're so excited to meet her in person and have you all home safe and sound! Dan is such a kid magnet; I'm glad Monroe was so at ease with him. Karen, I'm sure she has just never seen such bright blue eyes and blonde hair before, nor experienced that enthusiastic joy and love that oozes out of you. Looking forward to more pictures as your time allows!!

We are continuing to pray for her bonding process. Welcome to the be "scared of the blonde hair and blue eyes club!" She will be in love with you in no time. We can't wait to meet her in person.
